Rhetorical situations refer to influences that lead a writer to struggle to inform, motivate or convince a specific audience through the art of discourse. According to Aristotle, rhetoric is a counterpart of both logic and politics. It pays attention to the available means of persuasion. Rhetoric offers heuristics for discovering, understanding and developing arguments for certain situations. Rhetoric designs persuasive speech and it is one of the ancient arts of discourse. In ancient Greece, rhetoric played a central part in Western education and it provided the need for writers and public speakers to stir arguments of importance among their audiences. Understanding rhetorical situations of past occurrences satisfy people’s demand for causality. Actually, it enables us to discover the degree to which the world is orderly because actions are patterned for good reasons. Different writers make certain decisions on the basis of rhetoric.
