The materials in this assignment provide the reader with a good understanding of religion, nature, and how these two tend to be crucial to people worldwide. In “Introduction to Religious Studies”, we learn about the importance of religion to mankind (Myhre, 2009). Next, in the Earth Diver video, we follow the story of creation according to Native Americans (Yundt, 2013). Finally, individuals of all kinds can get inspired to care for the environment (Earth Guardians, 2020).
I found it interesting that there were different creation stories in Native American Earth Diver Characters. Yet, in each story, the Muskrat plays a critical role in creating the earth (Native Languages of the Americas, 2020). From the Earth Guardians’ website, it is clear that the issue of climate change has permeated all parts of the world (Earth Guardians, 2020). But there are more native Americans committed to climate change efforts. The Earth Guardians YouTube channel also appears to attract many Native American views (Bioneers, 2014).
