It is difficult to eliminate racial since it is rooted into the core of the society. It calls for close examination on ways to eliminate racism in the society. For example, it appears so natural to discriminate other races in a society just as it was so common for slavery among the white Americans in the eighteenth century (Boss, 2012). Therefore, racism can be defined as the ill treatment of persons from other races, faith, culture, color and background. Most states and cultures if not all have discriminative tendencies. These mostly originated from the colonial masters. The western colonialists treated the Africans differently and this continued even after colonialism ended. For example, in the Darfur region in Sudan, there has been racial discrimination between the African Arabs and the black Africans. The war has led to the loss of many lives and many displaced persons. Therefore, this work examines the state of racial discrimination with focus on Darfur.
