* Governments are involved in trying to address this problem of labour exploitation by coming up with policy changes in the labour market. However, there are some factors most likely to influence policy changes to address labor exploitation. Diversity at workplaces is a critical factor that is likely to influence policy changes to address labour exploitation. The world today is deeply connected and has turned into a global village. It is from these more diverse companies and institutions are achieving better performance.
* Most organizations today are taking full advantage of this opportunity which is presented by diverse teams. Diverse companies are likely to attract more clients from different ethnicities than those who are not diverse in their staffing. Research shows that companies in the top quartile for gender or racial and ethnic diversity are more likely to have financial returns above their national industry medians.
* However, the companies in the bottom quartile in these dimensions are statistically less likely to achieve above-average returns. This makes a case for affirmation of how much diversity is has become a competitive differentiator that shifts market share toward more diverse companies over time (Hunt & Vivian, 2018). Policies to curb exploitation at the workplace will be determined by what kind of exploitations go on a given workplace, whether it is based on gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.
