Mystery Alaska
Mystery Alaska is a film directed by Jay Roach. It was first staged in 1999, and the movie is based on ice hockey game in Alaska town. The film assists the audience to understand the role played by sport in the small town of Alaska. The film offers many key lessons that its viewer. To mention but a few includes honest, empathy, personality, respect and team player. This is a reflective paper which aims at analyzing the above qualities in respect to the film "Mystery Alaska".
I was quick to note that there is a huge promiscuity amongst the players. This shows how dishonesty the players were towards one another. It can be seen when player Skank have an affair with Lolita, and when Charles rekindles some romantic flames to his ex-girlfriend Dona.
The movies however show a lot of empathy as it portrays the compassionate love of Alaska people towards hockey game. The game also builds many personalities, who were able to develop their skills and talents through it. Despite of being raised in a town dominated by many underdeveloped subplots, the town was able to develop important personalities such as sheriff Biebe, lawyer Maury and player Skank.
