Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler Literature Assignment

This is an Argumentive paper, so I will need an Introduction, Thesis and two supporting paragraph ONLY
In the Thesis, I need to state that I DO NOT agree with the author. (I am a follower of Christ) I would like to focus on her Luren the main character who looks at herself as a prophetess or even a (god ) but hate God. Her dad who is a Pastor who believes in the deity leaves one day to work and never makes it home. and Bankole who becomes her mate who is the same age as her dad and has land to start this new religion that will change or shape God, where there no heaven or hell.
I asked for an Argumentative Paper They Say(Author) I Say(ME) format with an Introduction, A strong Thesis and Two Supportive Paragraph with Quotes from the book and reference from scriptures Only. You're giving me more than what I'm asking plus I do not see a strong argument. 
This is a Black literature Class. The Author is Black women and she tells the story from the perspective of a young black girl who is living during the last days' and see a world that is dying and she starting to question how is there a God who says He is Love, however, would allow all this turmoil of killing hate, slavery, racisim in the world in the year 2025. 
Her father is a Baptist Pastor who believes in this" white Jesus " so she begins to shape God and creates her own religion to help her understand whats going on in the world. But as Christians, we know we can not shape God and God doesn't Change. 
Try to write through the lens of a black girl understanding why she would feel the way she feels but arguing from a Christian perspective that we (Christians) are not serving a white Jesus but we serving a God of Love. Maybe in the thesis, saying while being able to empathize what she feels as a black woman myself in the black struggle, but disagreeing as a Christian with how she goes about it, trying to change or shape God and starts a new religion. I hope I explained that with clarity?
