The world we live in is full of problems or issues. Some of them are serious in nature whereas the others are considered ordinary or minor. I believe that the aging population is one of those global societal issues that need immediate media, public and government attention. So far, little research has been done in this field, and the problem has taken a serious form. The elderly are given tough times by their own family members (Yakita, 2017, p. 116). Many of them are sent to the care homes where the behavior of people with them is uncertain. Furthermore, they have to face financial problems right after their retirement, and this problem not only exists in the United States but also worldwide. The elderly who depend on their pensions or property rents are often thrown out of the houses by their own children (Yakita, 2017).
