Every person has got his or her fears. While these fears might be varied based on every individual, there is one common fear for everyone. This is the fear of failure. We often want to succeed in every venture or undertaking that we embark on. Failure to do so is usually very disappointing and sometimes discouraging. One thing we need to know however, is that failure and success are complementary, more like inseparable twins. Life never goes as we always plan. Occasionally, we go through ups and downs. And the experiences and moments teach us a lot of life’s important lessons. Failures are inevitable in life. At some point in time, we fail at something. Usually, it comes when we least anticipated. However, how we bounce back is what counts.
There is particularly one failure I remember experiencing back in time. It was while I was still in school. I decided that I set a target of achieving the top grade in my class each year. My educational foundation was quite good and I therefore never felt this goal to be unachievable. To me, it was just one of those exciting targets or hurdles which I would gradually overcome and set even higher ones. I therefore felt, at first, that the target would also help spur me academically. There I set off to my academic journey that would later turn out to be a much taught learning curve for me in life.
