The store is owned by a Dunkin Donuts franchisee who owns 20 other Dunkin Donuts locations. Your employer took an employee inventory and examined all current employees. It has been noted by the owner that you have a highly successful track record. You have been recognized for doing an exceptional job staffing, leading, training, coaching, and managing people. You have been recognized for successfully managing all key components of your store and have successfully managed key business drivers such as cash, profits, growth, asset utilization and people. In regards to the metrics that are used to measure their stores for sales, quality, and customer service, your store is the top performing store in their system. 
Congratulations! You have just been promoted to District Manager! The Dunkin Donuts franchisee sees your growth potential and the growth potential in your geographic area. The owner now has committed significant capital and plans to open five new locations over the next two years. You will be given complete autonomy, authority, and responsibility to structure, staff, and operate these five new locations. You will be playing a key role in this expansion for growth.

Having indicated positive performance progress for the past few years, the performance of this branch has been rewarded with the opportunity for the establishment of five other branches. The newly formed branches would be no exceptions when it comes to the ideas of quality and the market performance. There is the need for the organization to keep growing and the only best way through which this objective can be achieved is when exceptional performance parameters are put in place. The new branches which would be formed would, therefore, have to do as well as this branch has been doing or even show sighs of better performance. While the Perforce and the success of the new branches to be established would be dependent upon the qualities and the efforts of all the stakeholders involved, the idea of management would be very instrumental in the provision of additional performance-related and developmental qualities. It is, therefore, the key objective of the management of these newly emerging branches to ensure that the rights managerial parameters are employed in ensuring that quality prevails. This report provides the various factors which have been put in place to achieve these objectives with the key points of consideration being the factors such as the job design, organizational design, recruitment strategy as well as the training and performance appraisal processes.
Job design
It is completely important that the various jobs which would be available in the organization be provided with the adequate descriptions so that whoever would be involved would be able to have a clear impression of their responsibilities. Under the new management, all the responsibilities would be collected and considered for the purpose of the organizational objective realization. The main product line in which the operations would be concerned would be in the form of the offering restaurant services to the many customers who are available within the target markets. The first step which would be considered here would be the collection of all the ideas concerning all the activities which would be necessary within the organization.
This process does not only emphasize on handling the general activities involved in the production of the consumable producers but rather extend to cover all the duties from the management level as it extends downwards to cover the general customer services responsibilities. The subordinate objectives would also be encountered in this particular lost. The second part involves the definition of all the duties with which all these positions would be entrusted. The type of activities or the methods employed in performing most of the objectives would be in such a manner that they offer speed, efficiency and hence reliability amongst the customer population. For this particular scenario, mechanization of the operations would be preferred methods of doing most of the general and impactful tasks like baking, beverage making and the other activities of this category.
