The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, or NSCS, is a nonprofit educational society in the United States of America. It has devoted itself to the betterment and well-being of college students and is known to have over 1.2 million active members. Its chapters engage in scholastic activities and social services, and members are encouraged to help their companions from different colleges and universities to participate in its programs.
For quite a long time, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars has given away millions of dollars in grants, which is indeed a good step for students like me. I belong to a financially unstable family. After the death of my father, it was too complicated for my mother to raise me up, so she chose to send me a boarding school funded by the NSCS. Today, I am doing a B.A. in linguistics, and after completing my graduation, I aim to join NSCS as a volunteer. The price of a postgraduate degree has skyrocketed, and hundreds of recent graduates complain that they are not being provided with jobs in the education sector due to the fact that most of the schools and colleges require a Master’s degree holder rather than a Bachelor’s degree holder. It is one of my major concerns as I want to become a teacher after completing my B.A. If the National Society of Collegiate Scholars agrees to fund my postgraduate studies, it will indeed be a big favor. After securing a well-paying job, I aim to regularly participate in its training sessions that are meant to create awareness among students regarding the significance of education.
