Everyone has their own heroes
For every person that lived on this planet, there exists a person who inspired them into becoming who they are. For most these are our mom, dad, aunt, an influential businessman, a local philanthropist, and the list goes on and on. At times, are not limited to one person but a number of different personas, where we become inspired with a number of their characteristics or beliefs. In my case, one of the heroes from my list is my sister. Although, she is significantly older than me and has 2 children, what I admire about her is her dedication, not only to provide for her kids but also to give what’s best for them. Just like my mom, she always makes sure that her kids develop a strong sense of moral, psychological, and emotional values that could help them when they grow up. However, despite allotting more time with her kids, she never forgets about us, her family. When she has time, my sister would make sure to go to the local food stops and bring us some food that we would happily share while talking about what’s happening with our lives. She and her kids also regularly visit our parents and even make sure to bring them to the doctor whenever they’re not feeling well. For others, this might not be much especially because they always take the time to visit their loved ones, perhaps after their classes or during their vacation. However, I’m still amazed at how devoted she is with all of our loved ones that she makes sure to allot time despite the very hectic schedule that she has.
In the future I would like to be exactly like her. When I start to build my own career and have a family of my own, I also want to devote a lot of time in visiting my loved ones and also have constant communication with them. Just like my sister, I would like to have all of our families closer together. Unlike, those people who forgets about their families or even leave them in nursing homes due to their want for a promotion, I would like to have our family living in close proximity to each other so I could personally take care of them. Aside from this, I also want to be like my sister in the way that she rears her children.
