The documentary seeks to bring to light the advantages and disadvantages that the internet has brought with it, like a peculiar interview on a family who was harassed online after they lost their daughter. Herzog focuses on how the internet connects people from all spheres. The connection has both advantages and disadvantages. The documentary brings to light these factors. The interview is also conducted to respondents in an area where electronic devices are not allowed. It helps compare and understand what a world without the internet and electronics would look like. The ten chaptered documentaries also explore the second technological revolution, which includes artificial intelligence and robotics and how they have influenced human life.
