Liberty and Authority in Colonial Georgia
In his article titled Liberty and Slavery in Colonial America, Andrew C. Lannen argues that it is not possible to hear the loud yelp for freedom among the drivers of Negroes and that people’s commitment to individual freedom has nothing to do with reality as they are much into practicing slavery (Lannen, 2017).
A large number of historical works have examined the politics and society of royal periods of Colonial Georgia and the Trustee. In this particular research article, Andrew C. Lannen has tried to bind the themes of two eras together and tends to create a balance between authority and liberty.
