Leadership Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Leadership I have had a chance to work in freelance industry for some time where I have collaborated with our leader in numerous projects. From a personal perspective, he is a competent leader who bears numerous talents, especially when it comes to handling complex projects. Furthermore, his skills have enabled the organization to be successful for numerous years, which is almost a decade since he ventured into this industry. Well, despite of his strengths and competencies when it comes to the management of the company, there are certain attributes that have been responsible for dragging the organization behind. Some of his attributes that make him a good leader is the fact that he rarely leaves projects incomplete, particularly when it comes to handling urgent projects. Furthermore, he commits huge amount of his time, including waking up early and sleeping late when it comes to completing projects. Studies have shown that effective leaders are those that lead by example and are able to motivate their employees (Stronge, 2018). However, one of his worst attribute is when it comes to paying his workers. This does not mean that he does not pay, but the fact that he never pays in full based on the excuse that some clients have not paid or some projects have been cancelled. This tends to greatly disorient his workers. In addition, while he imposes hefty fines on his workers for delayed projects, he never gives them the bonuses for a job well done.
