In my “Writing Around A Discourse” essay, I aim to talk about my profession and share the experience of how I interviewed the top event manager of my city. Currently, I am studying hotel management at a nearby college, and after the college time, I work as a part-time event planner. I have decided to interview the top even planner of the town. He lives in the posh area of my city, and it will take me some days to finalize things with his manager. Meanwhile, I am trying to improve my skills by learning new things. As an event planner, I know that we should be ready to accept challenges and work under pressure. Sometimes we are approached to plan weddings, birthdays, or conferences the very next day. Only a proficient, hardworking and experienced person can manage all this without compromising on quality. I received a similar order the previous week and managed to do that, and it was indeed a significant achievement as everyone at the ceremony was happy and satisfied with the services.
Once I get a chance to meet Mr. Steve Austin, the best event manager of my town, I will ask him a number of questions regarding his profession and may inquire about his secret of success. I have already constructed seven different interview questions based on his personal and professional life. When it comes to planning an event, one of the major goals is to exceed the expectations of the guests, specifically the bride and groom. Besides arranging seats and tables, planning light and music, we have to get the meal prepared, and it needs to be hygienic, health-friendly and delicious. I will definitely request Mr. Steve to tell how the venue should be decorated and what types of facilities should be provided to the guests.
