The reason behind their quality and precise work is the ability to adopt a teamwork approach and to combine strength and speed. Moreover, they employ a competitive work approach where they try to outdo each other, and this allows them to serve more customers at one go, which serves as a source of entertainment. The manager believes that their cultural background is the force behind their hard work even when there is a low pay or a low status of work; at one point, he cites them as “phenomenal workers” (Gomberg-Muñoz, 2011). Therefore, the Mexican values instilled in the immigrants from birth are the push for hard work, and it does not have any attachment to fighting for equality or rights of the workers.
