The media is regarded as the greatest source to know about the happenings of the world. It significantly influences our lives because the media has the power to manipulate our thoughts. This manipulation is sometimes positive and sometimes negative. According to Douglass Kellner, “Media images help shape our worldview and our deepest values: what we deem bad or good, negative or positive, or evil or moral” (1994). It is entirely our duty to remain unmoved by such forms. Rather, we should devise our own thoughts and take our own stances instead of blindly adhering to what media deems correct or incorrect.
