The battle between the Tutsi and the Hutus led to the massacre of more than 700,000 citizens of Rwanda. The war was mainly caused by corruption and bribery that marked the scene of politics in the country. This traces back to the Rwandese colonies, the Belgians. They established tribal lines between then Tutsi and the Hutu (Rosenstones, & Parvulescu, 2015). Hotel Rwanda is about the story of a hotel manager named Paul Rusesabagina who played a major role in saving 1,200 people’s lives by being so good. Paul himself is a Hutu and is married to a Tutsi called Tatiana. He uses his bribery skills in the business to make him a better man.
