On the matters of the interaction between gender, race and fitness, there lies aspects of the three that require some for form of clarification. Issues associated with human identity pose the need to understand how the three interact and at what levels. Gender and race are complex traits, however they are particularly very useful given that they include social dimensions, which are crucial when trying to understand how health impacts the society and the underpinnings such as genetics at varying degrees.
At the Burn it fitness center, there some intriguing observations. One of the aspects relates to the fact that, there were more males than females at the fitness center at any given time. With the ratio of men to women at the center coming 2:1 respectively. At the same time, there were more whites at the center taking part in the various exercises. This was an interest observation given that, the area around the fitness center is graced with almost the same number of whites and African Americans living in the community. As such, one would have expected that there will be similar number of the two dominant races.
