Feminism has been one of the most pressing, yet never-ending issue until today for every society around the world. Throughout its course, the movement was able to achieve great success, such as giving women the right to suffrage, the right to decide their destiny, and the right to free and equitable reproductive care, among others. However, contrary to what most people believe, feminism has not yet reached its ultimate goal of providing equality among men and women in every aspect of life. Accordingly, the film entitled Status Quo? The Unfinished Business of Feminism in Canada provides a vivid example of this disparity, especially when it comes to indigenous women who are considered as one of the most vulnerable sectors of society.
