FALLACIES IN A LANGUAGE, (JARGON FALLACIES)
A jargon is an overly specialized language used by a particular group. In jargon some of the fallacies found are the following. The confirmation bias fallacy that invokes looking for the information that only supports the theory one is using and disregarding the other data (Engel, 1994). The ecological fallacy this comes up when someone makes obstruction about a certain member in a group based on the aggregate data about the group an example is if a husband and a wife are six and five feet tall respectively their average height is five feet six inches though none is that height. The other fallacy is fusionism which is an alliance based on some compatible principles. The galtons fallacy occurs when there is no accurate interpretation existing of the bell curve (Malcolmsom, 2007).
