Fairy tales are stories that begin with phrases like once upon a time and present happy conclusions. Fairly tales present fantasies that only children would believe that they are true. In the old tradition, the fairy tale journey was more of a metaphor, orally narrated to entertain, but also pass meaningful messages to its listeners (Grimm et al., 1903). These stories communicated societal attitudes towards topics that were unspeakable in the open. The narrators presented possible solutions using metaphors.
The Grimm brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm, produced more than two hundred fairy tales about children who suffered or abandoned by their parents (Grimm et al., 1903). Child abuse prevails in most of Grimm brother’s fairy tales because it was a common practice at the time the Grimm brothers collected the tales. The two Fairy tales; The little snow white and All kinds of fur, portrayed the realistic nature of the society that still attracts many readers' attention even in the present times.

The theme of child abuse is evident in the little snow white when the mirror on the wall declares that snow white is the prettiest, according to the story, the Queen "began to tremble, and her face turns yellow and green with envy "(Grimm & Grimm, 1870).
