To a great extent, the choices and the decisions that we make in our daily lives are usually in some aspect of subconscious, and particularly the small things. Man has free will however, the question is how much of our religious inclination and experiences affect the choices and decisions that we make. Religion has a major influence on our daily lives far much more that many of us would realize.
