Tamara is right about her evaluation and how she reacted positively to it. She has definitely done excellent work at the agency and deserves a commendable report. However, Tamara does not seem to be aware of the importance of punctuality in a workplace setting. Accoding to Verne, Holoviak, & Winter (2009), being on time is extremely crucial in the corporate world, especially for an intern and newbie like her.
If I were the faculty liaison dealing with Tamara’s concerns about her evaluation, I would mention to her the downsides of not keeping time. Failure to be on time disrupts the organization’s workflow and wastes others’ time. Tamara does not seem to realize the impact of punctuality, which is quite high.
