I have come to understand that education is not the answer to everything, but a person who is caring and grateful enough is the main source of your strength. Since the first time I learned about the University of Redlands, I gained an increased urge of getting an opportunity of sharpening my skills that would enable me to give back to the community. Having been brought up in a family that appreciates grateful giving and social work, the University of Redlands emerges as a wonderful opportunity that can enable an individual to progress in a dynamic student body. My parents have always taught me to appreciate the small things of life, such as using my skills and talents to train and coach my colleagues when it comes to playing soccer. My mentor always told me that “work without play makes Jack a dull boy,” and this is the reason why I supplemented my academics with extracurricular activities.
The University of Redlands values individuality and inspires those people who are talented to work towards the achievement of their full potential.
