The two studies used similar research methods. They both employed the online survey method and questionnaires. Dailey et al. used the internet to identify and recruit participants in active weight management programs. On the other hand, Lee & Lin used an online survey and questionnaires trying to understand whether people consulted physicians’ online or face-to-face. 
In the study by Dailey et al., both high challenge and high acceptance played a vital role in the higher achievement of the set goals, which implies that they correlated positively. For instance, most participants felt motivated by their partners when they challenged them on weight management. (Dailey et al., 2016) In the study by Lee & Lin, there is a positive correlation between competence, anatomy, and relatedness. This was because people preferring to consult online had higher chances of seeking face-to-face physician assistance (Lee & Lin, 2016).
