One of the most abundant compound in our planet is Carbon Dioxide and it has properties that has a huge influence on the planet and is usable in different modern industries. It is made up of two elements which are Carbon and Oxygen. Carbon Dioxide is a naturally occurring gas that is 50% denser than normal air. It is composed of a carbon atom that is covalently double bonded to two oxygen atoms and it can naturally be found in the atmosphere of the planet as a trace gas. It has a concentration of 0.04 percent by volume. It can originate from the ground as well and may be released in the atmosphere from volcanoes, geysers, and even hot springs. It is released from carbonate rocks when such react with other elements like water and acid. Carbon Dioxide is also soluble in water, which makes it present in different bodies of water where it is dissolved.
