Bursary application

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am hereby applying for the bursary assistance for 2013. Currently I am a fulltime practical nursing student with an excellent track record.
I have always had the passion to help my patients ever since my childhood. Having been brought up by parents who are not well up it came naturally to me that I would want to pursue a future career in the field. Health care is a great challenge for patients that have financial difficulties. This is an aspect that I have had personal experience since when we were young in a family of five; my parents did not have the financial strength to provide us with proper health care and insurance cover. I believe I have a lot of potential and given the chance to further my education; I would make the best of the opportunity and make significant contributions to the health sector.
I am a hard working student who believes in academic excellence as part of the pillars in the health care sector. At the moment my education is being financed through the Ontario Student Assistance program (OSAP). I am also an above average performer and in my last semester I scored 75% in my tests. As part of healthy living, I exercise regularly and abstain from all forms of drug abuse, which has greatly helped me to focus on achieving my scholarly and personal goals.
