Introduction
Among the most common childhood illnesses, type 1 Diabetes is at the top of the list. However, there is an alarming rise of type 2 Diabetes in children, all over the globe (Pansier & Schulz, 2015). Type 2 Diabetes, in children, can lead to improper growth. Furthermore, it can also suppress the immunity, thereby weakens the defense mechanism of the body against various diseases making them immunocompromised. In contrast to adults, children differ from adults in many ways. For instance, a weak ability of self-control and a low compliance rate makes them hard to carry out proper treatments.
