Why I want to become a Police Officer
Law enforcement plays an integral role in the society. Without law enforcement, the society cannot function properly. I want to become a police officer because it would put in a better position to influence the society positively. There are thus a number of reasons why I admire a career in law enforcement. I want to become a police officer because I will have the opportunity to serve the community, gain permanent and long-term employment, save lives, and earn respect.
The main reason why I want to become a police officer is the opportunity to serve the community. By becoming a police officer I will have a direct impact on the community. Police officers spend most of their work time serving and protecting the local community and I believe it gives one the chance to work for something greater than oneself.
