In The Martian, botanical astronaut Mark Watney faces numerous changes in Mars after having being mistakenly assumed to be dead and had to survive and communicate with the fellow astronauts who return to earth. The conquest of Mars is a great challenge to human beings, but the movie mostly depicts science is good science. Mars has thinner atmosphere than earth and the movie correctly captures this through weightless gravity, the use of heavy spacesuits in this environment is suitable and the rover is made to move through the difficult terrain.
Like other science fiction movies in outer space, there is focus on the concept of weightless gravity where the ring located in the center of a ship simulates gravity similar to a weightless environment. This is a realistic depiction of an outer space where a ring there is generation of forces suitable to maintain an environment where there is weightless gravity with structure that rotates on its axis and through making is like the gravitational force. When Watney walks he appears to hop, and this reflects Mar’s lower gravity Objects orbit planets and they do not fall because of gravity, but if the space craft was accelerating the scientists would not feel weightless. Mars has less gravity than Earth, which means that even with a heavy space suit one will feel lighter on mars compared to earth
