Lee was brought up in a family, culture and tradition in which graciousness was the order of the day. Grant had a wider perspective of issues; he stood for the better of the entire country, seeking economic growth and development. He believed in an acute–dollar and cent stake. His fate was inclined to the country’s destiny, Grant believed in change as it will better living standard of his people.
