Amendment 13
According to the first section of this amendment, which is referred to as the End of Slavery, slavery of any kind except punishment for crimes is subject to jurisdiction in the United States. The second section of this amendment mentions that Congress has the right to enforce changes.
Amendment 14
This amendment, known as Civil Rights, consists of five different sections. It clarifies that every person who is born in the United States is subject to the jurisdiction.
