Amadeus - A Creation Of A Genius

Amadeus is a creation of a genius which gives a flow to a wonderful story through the theatre. It uses structure, and playwright’s talent in manipulating the elements of cinema so that it can take the attention of the audience. It revolves around Salieri, who is the intense antagonist, or probable protagonist in this ironic story. Salieri was presented in a way that he is at first, unappealing but as the story progresses, he is revealed to be actually talented and hard working man. This central character embodies the symbolism about the journey of life and existence, where he questions his own devotion and God. This drives him to discover his own frailty and weakness. In his victory, he doubts his triumph and discovers an emptiness within. Even in his bitterness, he still is able to discover subtle yet ingenious ironies that could exist in this universe. The theatrical performance and arrangement can imbue the art with their own passion and dedication. In the scene where Constanze is trying to seduce Salieri, the actress went to actually undress and bare her body to the audience. The scene portrayed the area where Salieri worked.
