Introduction
A Good Man Is Hard to Find is s short story that was written by Flannery O’ Connor in the year 1953. The story also appears in the collection of short stories that are under the same name. The author of the book, O’ Connor appeared to have drawn the resources that were at hand so that she would get various subjects for the stories in her books. Such resources included the people who were around her, the reading materials that she had such as periodicals and books and also the local and regional newspapers. The way in which the author treats the characters who are in the story reinforces the view of O’Connor on man as a fallen creature. The story talks about the destruction of an altogether normal family with three convicts.

O'Connor has used the literary style to capture the attention of the reader and to demonstrate the traits of the characters in the book. There is a scene at The Tower Café where the author illustrates to the reader how the characters are full of self-interest. However, there seems to be the reason that brings up the suspicion that the scene was created with more than the surface details that the reader may have at hand. On one level, The Tower Café can be seen as a biblical tower where the sons of Adam had their tongues confused so that they were not able to understand each other's speech.
