To suppress the activities of terrorist organizations, law enforcement authorities have implemented stringent measures and prosecutable offences on individuals or organizations that provide any form of material support to terrorism. According to Abrams (2005), any individual who gives resources or material support to a foreign terrorist organization, or conspires or attempts to do so, will be prosecuted under this title. In addition, funding of terrorist organizations has been blamed for the rapid rise and spread of terror activities across the world.
