Parliamentary democracy, as spelled out with a maximal definition, is whereby voters give authority to a group of individuals who are accountable to them in the process of making policies. It possesses three clear-cut attributes. First, it is described as the only chain of representation but with many connections. Second, there is only one principal who assigns roles to one or many non-competing agents. Finally, the agents report only to one principle that assigns them roles. Hence, where one agent is accountable to one principal dedicated to them within a single chain of command, it is termed as an ideal form of parliamentary democracy.
