Introduction
The treaty was conducted in November between the king and Mississauga Indians of Mud lake, Rice lake, Alderville and Scugog lake. According to the article of the treaty, these signatories were made and ended on November fifteenth during the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three years, amidst his most respected majesty, George the Fifth of the Ireland and Great Britain, Emperor of India, Defender of The Faith, Angus Seymour, belonging to the city of Ottawa in the office of Esquire, Ontario, Barrister-at-law and the Solicitor Departmental of the Indians affairs.

The Mississauga tribe claims to have been permitted particular interest in the land of Ontario, thereby giving the tribe permission to trapping, fishing and hunting rights in the aforementioned region.
