A source as defined by Ronczcowski (2012), is any individual who overtly or unknowingly submits information that might aid investigators in their intelligence assignments. These sources are anonymous, unwitting, confidential, and non confidential sources (Ronczcowski, 2012).Out of these four sources, it is perhaps the unwitting one that is the most important, from a personal perspective, due to a number of reasons that will be highlighted below.
