Similar to other kinds of professions, hackers can differ based on their skills, purpose, and commitment to what they are doing. Nonetheless, a significant number of them share a universal principle, ethic, and ideology that helps them guide their actions. Perhaps one of the most popular collections of these principles is Blankenship’s Hacker’s manifesto, which he wrote after being incarcerated for his deed back in 1986.
