The Secretary of agriculture takes action when dealing with private interests to ensure there is no harm to the wilderness. In the case of Sierra Club v. Lyng Secretary of Agriculture, the need to protect endangered species while also focusing on private interest was raised. The need to preserve endangered species should not be disregarded all in the name of private business. The implication of this case is that private business owners should try to minimize environmental destruction as much as possible even when pursuing business interests.
25.2 Americans with Disabilities Act
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations should be reasonably accessible to persons with disabilities (Cheeseman, 2013). The case of United States of America v. Cinemark USA, Inc, demonstrates that businesses that integrate fixed seating plans need to focus on the provisions of ADA. Hence, the seating arrangement like in the case of Cinemark, USA, Inc should ensure that there are no violations, through the design and setting of arenas and stadiums.
