Leveraging my life and educational experiences to strengthen Latino and STEM communities
I will leverage my life and educational experience to improve Latino and STEM communities. I have gained adequate knowledge concerning information technology which is necessary for promoting stability in the community. Notably, Latino and STEM communities majorly experience the problem of data insecurities and cyberwars, which limit personal safety (Gratian et al., 2018). The identified communities require a robust communication system with minimal technological issues and privacy concerns. For instance, the STEM community is majorly composed of trials, adult-coached, action, and youth-oriented. Therefore, my experience in information technology would adequately benefit the groups.
I plan to establish a framework that would resolve the problem of cyber security among the Latino and STEM communities. The identified communities experience barriers to cyber security. Therefore, I will create a training program on cyber security management to allow the communities to understand the need for cyber security management. According to Gupta (2018), cyber security management require proper training and coordination to enable the learners to implement secure skills. Due to my technology skills and the trusting nature of the Latino and STEM communities, I would teach them the effects of trust in cyberspace. Cyber security and trust are two opposite aspects since the more one trusts a given party, the higher the risks. The communities must reduce the trust aspect for intensified security management. Therefore, I would leverage my life towards training the community on the necessity of security management and bridging trust and cyberspace.
