Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Cibo Espresso, also known as Cibo, is a coffee shop franchise that is famous for its high-quality coffee and mouth-watering snacks. The company was formed in 2000, and currently has over 27 food points with a plan to expand its network in coming months. Even though the company provides its customers with high-quality snack foods and drinks, Cibo recently announced that it would recycle used plastic cups and lids and continue giving re-usable cups to people who visit its food stores every day. The purpose of this initiative is to sustain the environment which is said to be getting polluted due to the excessive, unwise use of plastic cups, bags and lids. It is believed that most of the plastic cups are not entirely safe, meaning they contribute to the environmental pollution in one way or the other.
Plastic cups are cheaper than glasses, and that’s why they are extensively used in cafes. However, Cibo aims to minimize their use or get them recycled, as well as provide its customers with re-useable cups only. More than 2 billion plastic cups and lids are exposed to the environment, but Cibo does not want to pollute the air at any cost. They will recycle the used plastic cups in a way that their shape remains consistent for a long, and they can easily be used at the café.
