The technology that is to be used on the website must match the following technological necessities, managing inventory, shipping, consolidating online shopping, electronic payment processes, enable cooperation externally and internally with both customers and staff, maintain customers' contact, provide reports, show order status and be able to manage all processes in brick-and-mortar business. Since online selling of products entails all the required necessities that the website must fulfill for quality electronic commerce. The business also has challenges in maintaining information on its customers, and it does not have a recording tool to support the managers in making up-to-date decisions. Technologies to be used From the given technologies, the two techniques I have to decide to use in solving the problem stated above include Intelligent systems and Cloud computing. The chosen technologies will assist in simplifying the business processes involved in merging the business with electronic business. Intelligent system: This system will help the company in gathering and analyzing data. The system can also communicate with other systems, thus sharing of information with other departments and making it easy for the management to make up-to-date decisions. The intelligent system will also help the business in reporting and planning accurately. The smart systems do not only consist of intelligent tools but also consist of other types of networks and more significant systems. The system will help the company record and track customers' orders, manage inventory, and also process debit and credit cards. Cloud Computing: It will assist the business in acquiring its data virtually. Cloud computing technology depends on sharing resources that will help in achieving an economy of scale and consistency. Cloud computing will enhance collaboration with both the customers and staff. It will improve the growth of the business and also help the employees in quickly accessing data from the management.
