Reflections on Archaeology and Israeli-Settler Nationhood
The Reflection on Archaeology and Israel-Settler Nationhood centers on the ancient history regarding political alienations and social life. There are several major points of the readings that center on the social, political, and ethical aspects of life. First, the readings also incorporated other things, such as Masada, which politically means independence (El-Haj, 2003). Further, the author demonstrates ethical issues during the displacement of the Palestinian population, which reflects the national sense to the settlers (both Jews and Palestinians). The evidence can be perceived through the integration of academics in the colonial rule that assists in understanding the political realities in Israel.
