Four decades ago, following ten years of an immense Cultural Revolution, which left tens of thousands of the communist populists in ruins, a sequence of transformative economic transitions and reforms launched China to the ranks of foreign and international community investment (Morrison, 2017). The improvements paved the way for a broad portfolio of benefits that formed the critical facets which helped China to be the industrialized and developed country of today (Zhou & Xiao, 2018). However, needless to say, that the transformation was achieved at an expensive cost. In this paper, we examine the prosperity and the costs that the country incurred after its enormous prosperity.
Firstly, during its initial steps into prosperity, China started to enjoy increased access with limited restrictions to foreign music. This preliminary step and achievement formed one of the country’s little elements that opened up the process, which led to a subsequent transformation from one of the poorest nations in the world to the world’s second-largest economy (Morrison, 2017).
