The health care system in Canada requires reconciliation towards the achievement of excellent health status for the entire population in the country. On the other hand, the reform cannot be attained without realizing and working on the issues raising concern in the system. Having a basis for the achievement of change paves the essential way for equality in health care regardless of the differences in aspects like races. The strategy will promote the welfare of the aboriginal communities marginalized to the extent of battling with diseases that can be treated comfortably. The Canadian health care system requires a change to attain effectiveness in the delivery of sufficient services for all the citizens in the country.
The indigenous people in Canada battle with more chronic diseases and disabilities than non-indigenous individuals. Although the people in the latter population have a historical settlement and continuity in the country, they continue suffering due to the delivery of inefficient services in the health care system (Gasparelli et al., 2016). The federal government in the country must participate in creating solutions to the identified problems. For example, finding out the primary cause of the issues experienced by aboriginal communities is the inability to meet the cost in health care requires government intervention to ensure standardization of the high cost. The involvement will eventually make the treatment procedures and price of drugs available for everyone in the country. On the other hand, the aboriginal communities need to reveal the most distracting issues to pave the way for improvement and eradication of the areas of failure in the Canadians’ health care system. The idea of engaging the aboriginal population is to ensure that the problems are ultimately exhausted (Gasparelli et al., 2016). Finally, physicians need to give an account of their actions in the treatment processes and what they do to enhance and maintain a healthy community. “Physiotherapists have a crucial role to play in addressing these care gaps, as outlined by two seminal statements from the Ca...
