In what ways are they similar? In what ways are they different? The current conflicts worldwide are secondary to prejudices and the desire for power. The prejudices result in different kinds of warships including civil, revolutionary, and defensive wars. The desire for power is evident with some of the current leaders in the world who are sometimes worshipped by their countrymen. One of these leaders is the President of the Philippines, who ordered extrajudicial killings and prompted violence and aggression against his own people. His personal agenda resulted in several conflicts in the country that makes its people separated by their personal ideologies.  These current conflicts are no different from the causes of World War I which are mainly concerned injustices.
