Mexican Migration to the United States
Mexican migrants face a dilemma when they are chased from both south and north by Mexican police officers and immigration agents from the United States respectively. The situation is extremely tough to the individuals and they do not know the appropriate solution to the problem. While the migrants should find refuge in their home country, they face a cold reception of being chased by police officers (Minian, 1). On the other hand, having entered into the United States illegally resulted to the consequence of getting chased to their home country. The migrants strained to achieve local and national dwelling in Mexico and the United States for more than twenty years, but their effort did not bare fruits and they could not find refuge for permanent settling in either of the countries.
The migrants have the desire of going back to Mexico when the situation gets out of hand in the United States. On the other hand, the leadership in Mexico is worried about the invention of smugglers in their country, even if they are native inhabitants. Knowing that the migrants would soon return home, police officers are ordered to wait for them at the border and restrict the entry of the smugglers. This action originated from the fear by the government that the individuals may take control of various issues in Mexico, just like they abducted Southern America to enhance illegal entry of their fellow Mexicans. However, the assigned officers do not follow the instated instructions, and they decide to bur the entry of the entire group (Minian, 2). Identification of the targeted criminals could have been hard and letting all the individuals in the country was the not the best idea. Although the migrants have the urge of getting back home, the police officers restrict their free entry.
What happened to the desire growing to the extent of entering the United States illegally? Did the surrounding in the country turn the expectations of the Mexicans down? While the migrants had great zeal when moving to America, it’s evident that the desired expectations did not unfold according to their expectations. In this case, the individuals are tow in confusion between the decision of staying and going back to Mexico. Blaming their decision of going to country may not solve the problems they are going through.
