Background - Case #2 Anxiety disorder, OCD, or something else?
Tyrel is an 8-year-old black male who has been worried and nervous over the past two months. He is increasingly anxious about germs and is constantly washing his hands. Tyrel lives with his mother, Shaquana, who has been divorced from her ex-husband, Desmond, for the past two years. Tyrel is also facing difficulties at school; he is nervous around his classmates and has missed classes in the past three weeks.
